Jax Chapter Wins Big at FPRA's 83rd Annual Conference

The Jacksonville Chapter and its valued members had a lot to celebrate at the Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA)’s 83rd Annual Conference that took place in Orlando in early August.

  • At the Presidents’ Luncheon, the Jax Chapter received a coveted President’s Award for Communications and PR thanks to the leadership of Courtney Barclay, Ph.D., J.D., APR.

  • Kimberly Norman was named to the Joe Curley Rising Leader 2022 Class, honoring up-and-coming FPRA members who demonstrate emerging leadership traits along with active involvement in FPRA chapter activities and programs.

  • Courtney Barclay, Ph.D., J.D., APR and EmmaJean Livingston graduated from LeadershipFPRA Class VI. The one-of-a-kind program provided them with invaluable tools to foster leadership in our organization, community and within FPRA.

  • Liz Slobodian, APR and her team at Firehouse Subs Headquarters brought home three Judges Awards and three Awards of Distinctions from the Golden Image Awards.

  • Andrea Siracusa, APR, CPRC represented Dreams Come True of Jacksonville as they won a Judge’s Award at the Golden Image Ceremony.

  • The late Rosemary Tutt, APR, CPRC, was honored with the Doris Fleischman Award in which the FPRA Jacksonville Chapter accepted on her behalf. The award honors a selfless, dedicated volunteer who steadfastly and quietly contributes to the public relations profession through FPRA.
