The accreditation scholarships are named in memory of beloved FPRA Chapter Jacksonville member, Rosemary Tutt, APR, CPRC, who was instrumental in growing FPRA and PRSA Northeast Florida Chapters and their leadership pipelines. She had an immeasurable impact on the field of public relations by touching countless lives through her time working as a public relations professor at Flagler College.

Her ability to make each student feel respected, valued and like they could do anything in the world they set their minds to is one of the

many reasons why Rosemary will go down as a legend in the communications and public relations community. She always put her students first and wanted nothing more than to see them succeed. She was an expert, a true PR professional and a respected professor.

Rosemary was honored with the 2022 Doris Fleischman Award at FPRA's 83rd Annual Conference, where the Jacksonville Chapter accepted the award on her behalf. The Doris Fleischman award honors a selfless, dedicated volunteer who steadfastly and quietly contributes to the public relations profession through FPRA. This honoree is indispensable, managing projects both large and small, committed to give more than they take. Ultimately, they genuinely want to contribute to and improve the overall profession, whether they receive credit or not.
